Terms of Service - Hockey Line

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Hockey Line ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Hockey Line is a mobile application designed to help hockey coaches and team managers organize line combinations, track player attendance, and manage team logistics. The App is available in both free and premium subscription tiers.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Premium Subscription

Hockey Line offers premium subscription plans that provide additional features including ad-free experience, unlimited teams and games, and priority support. Subscription prices are displayed in the App before purchase.

Billing and Renewal

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account. Your subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

Free Trials

We may offer free trial periods for premium subscriptions. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged the subscription price. You can cancel at any time during the trial through your device's subscription settings.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create within the App, including team names, player information, and line configurations. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and display your content as necessary to provide the service.

You are solely responsible for the content you create and share. You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose or to upload content that violates the rights of others.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any illegal purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers connected to the App
Reverse engineer or decompile the App
Use automated systems to access the App without permission
Transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by Hockey Line and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our express written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Your use of the App is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hockey Line shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the revised terms on this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
